Take the Horseback Safari near Orlando-Kissimmee and experience natural Florida just as the founding settlers did - on horseback.

This tour offers some of the best riding in Central Florida, featuring historic trails first used by Native Americans back in the 1500s. Enjoy a two hour adventure through the 4700-acre wildlife conservation area which covers nine distinct Florida ecosystems.

You'll make your way through the native foliage while being led by a knowledgeable guide who provides insight and commentary about your encounters along the way. It's a real safari through unspoiled Florida ecosystems rarely seen anymore.

Important Information:

~ This activity takes place in St. Cloud Florida, approximately 10 miles southeast of Kissimmee and 30 miles south of Orlando.
~ Standard two-hour horseback safaris are available daily and can be arranged for riders with varying levels of experience.
~ All guests should be at least 12 years of age (regardless of riding experience); 10 years of age is acceptable with proven riding experience.
~ Guests over 275 pounds will need individual evaluation to determine the ability to participate.
~ Horses are specifically matched to each individual's personality and level of riding experience, so first-timers are welcome.
~ All guests should wear long pants and closed-toe shoes as a part of the safety assurance policy.
~ All riders must sign liability waiver forms; parent or guardian must sign for anyone under 18 years of age.

Cancellation Policy

There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Policy

If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can only be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

My Mom and I took a horseback trail ride in Orlando with you at a huge ranch outside Orlando. It was a huge Cattle Ranch with lots to see. Our horses were beautiful and well cared-for. I would consider myself a good rider but my Mom needed a quiet horse. The Cowboy Guide was careful to make sure we were matched with the right horses for our riding ability. It was a great afternoon, and we could tell our guide loves what he does. He told us a lot about the Florida forest and history of the ranch as we rode.  We’d like to sign up for your overnight program next time.
