After the show, you're invited behind the scenes on the Grand Ole Opry House Backstage Guided Tour. Get a rare glimpse to see how the show is made and learn the fascinating history of the Grand Ole Opry House.
Saturday morning you will see what Nashville's all about on a comprehensive city tour, including visits inside the Ryman Auditorium and the Country Music Hall of Fame. After the tour enjoy free time for shopping and sightseeing.

Friday Evening: Welcome to Nashville & Grand Ole Opry - Enjoy a fantastic evening of country music at the world-famous Grand Ole Opry! You'll see new stars as well as the legends of country and bluegrass. One of the Opry's priceless qualities continues to be the uniqueness of each show - you never know who might strike up a rare duet or who might stop by for a surprise appearance! The show, which includes a live radio broadcast, begins at 7:00 pm and lasts 2.5 hours. Give yourself plenty of time to travel to the Opry House prior to showtime. Please Note: If this event is not available on Friday night, you will be confirmed for Saturday night to accommodate both evening events.
PLEASE NOTE: November through January, all shows are held at the Ryman Auditorium in downtown Nashville. You are responsible for arranging your own transportation to and from the Ryman Auditorium.
Friday Night: Grand Ole Opry House Backstage Guided Tour - Discover the fascinating history of the Grand Ole Opry House with a backstage tour after your show! This tour begins shortly after the conclusion of the Grand Ole Opry Show – approximately 9:30 pm. You'll get a rare glimpse at what happens behind the scenes of the show that made country music famous. You'll also have time to explore on your own through the halls filled with Opry memorabilia!
PLEASE NOTE: This tour is available January – October. During the months of November and December, you can choose to take a backstage tour of the Ryman Auditorium on Saturday afternoon, or receive a refund for this portion of the package. Please also note that in January and February when the show is conducted at the Ryman Auditorium, you will confirmed to take your Grand Ole Opry House backstage tour on Saturday afternoon before your General Jackson Dinner Cruise. Please also note if you are confirmed for the Saturday night Grand Ole Opry show, you will be confirmed for the Backstage tour on Saturday night as well.
Saturday Morning: Nashville City Tour - See the best of "Music City USA" on this informative and entertaining 3-hour sightseeing tour. You'll be picked up from the hotel between 8:30 and 9:00 am and head to Historic Downtown Nashville. Among the sights you'll see are Fort Nashboro, the State Capital, Parthenon, Music Row, Studio B (where over 100 top ten hits were recorded by Elvis Presley), Bicentennial Mall, and Vanderbilt University.
Your morning includes tours of the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum, plus the "Mother Church of Country Music" - the historic Ryman Auditorium. There's also a stop at a downtown Honky Tonk for some live country music and a refreshment before you are returned to the hotel. You're on your own for the afternoon to shop, go sightseeing, or just relax!
Saturday Night: General Jackson Dinner Cruise & Show - Get ready to enjoy a delicious dinner and a great show aboard one of the largest showboats in the world - the famous and historic General Jackson! Plan to arrive at the General Jackson, part of Gaylord Opryland Resort, for boarding at 6:15 pm. The cruise departs at 7:00 pm and returns at 10:00 pm. You'll cruise down the Cumberland River on this 300-foot-long vessel, enjoying the views, a plated dinner and a very enjoyable stage show.
From mid-March to mid-November, a nostalgic journey through America's music called "Country Music USA" takes the stage. A special holiday-theme show rounds out the year in late November through mid-December. You'll love the traditional Christmas music with a country flavor as the General Jackson celebrates the holiday season. Shows are subject to change. You are responsible for arranging your own transportation to and from the General Jackson. Cancellation Policy
Once confirmed, cancellations are only available for the entire Vacation Package. Cancellations submitted more than 72 hours in advance of arrival date are subject to a $100 cancellation fee, with the remaining balance applied to a five year monetary gift certificate. However, the Grand Ole Opry Show Tickets and Opry House Backstage Tour WITHOUT transportation, and General Jackson tickets WITHOUT transportation are FINAL SALE - no refund. Therefore, in the event the entire Vacation Package is canceled more than 72 hours in advance, the amounts for the Grand Ole Opry Show Tickets, Opry House Backstage Tour and General Jackson cannot be refunded nor applied to a monetary gift certificate. Any cancellations made within 72 hours of arrival date are totally non-refundable and cannot be converted into a gift certificate. If the Vacation Package hotel room becomes unavailable, customer may select an alternate hotel, reschedule for an alternate date, or be refunded in full. If any of the Vacation Package activities become unavailable, customer can select alternate activities, or be refunded a pro-rata portion of the Vacation Package price. Please note, however, that the Vacation Package remains intact.
Change Policy
If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per Vacation Package change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Subsequent changes to your Vacation Package will result in additional change fees. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can only be made if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee changes, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 72 hours prior to the arrival date and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.
